When I was in my 40s, my image of an ideal old person was one who is matured in personality and well-cultutred. But now in my early 60s, the image of an ideal aged person is different. I hope to be a good-natured person, at the same time, I long to be an active and unconventional old woman.
The reason for the change in the image of an ideal old person is that I'm afraid that as you read more books and become wiser, you tend to be less and less active.
It goes without saying that there are many active and well-cultivated aged people. However, I feel it is difficult for an ordinary person like me to become active and well-cultured.
Nowadays, I aspire to be an old version of a young enviromental activist, Greta Thunberg.
