I had long been advized to buy a high quality teapot by a tea dealer, who said that an expensive tea pot makes tea taste better than an inexpensive one. Yesterday I bought a high quality teapot pricead at about 7000 yen, believing that the dealer's assertion is true.
I made a compariosn in taste between the high quality teapot and an inexpensive one I had used for several years to check the dealers's claim.
As the tea merchant asserted, the expensive tea pot made tea tastier than the affordable one. But, I have to add that the taste depends on tea leaves themselves, hot water poured over, and the temperature of it.
