The Unsung Heroes: Recognizing Essential Workers

As the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic unfolded, the term "essential workers" gained prominence, accompanied by a burgeoning movement aimed at recognizing the invaluable contributions of healthcare professionals. However, in current discourse, these phrases seem conspicuously absent, and any semblance of a concerted effort to honor these individuals appears to have waned.

It's imperative to acknowledge that individuals employed in sectors such as agriculture, fishing, and forestry also fall under the category of "essential workers," playing indispensable roles in sustaining our livelihoods. Yet, upon reflection, it becomes evident that these individuals have not received the due reverence they deserve, a realization that extends to my own introspections.

The stark reality is that while certain high-paying occupations may be deemed dispensable, those engaged in essential work often endure meager incomes, burdensome workloads, and a notable lack of recognition.

If this persists, it could upset God, leading to potential consequences.
